the lesserLight is a worship project that exists with the hope that those who hear may be strengthened, encouraged, and drawn toward Jesus. Our name reminds us of our place in the story: we are lesser, and He is greater.

Our songs live in the space between grace and failure, joy and struggle, and questions and conviction, and are offered for whatever purpose they may serve. Not with an aim to focus attention on ourselves, but to reflect something greater — through music, lyrics, and creativity.
